Each year the Columbus Days committee “Discover the Music, the Food, the Fun” on the third weekend of August. There is a fantastic line-up of live entertainment on two stages all weekend. In fact, all of Frankfort Square is filled with fun, including inflatable rides, activities for kids and plenty of food. From the foam dance in bubbles to the “Running of the Weiner Dogs there is something for everyone. Rounding out the weekend celebration every year is the Columbus Days Parade on Sunday afternoon, giving thousands of people the opportunity to enjoy floats, marching bands and other displays.

Marley’s Electrical was front and center stage this year as a corporate sponsor and logists volunteer of Columbus Days. The crew helped secure the “Something Good” banner on the street stage where we heard “On the Fritz”, “Rocks in a Pocket” and “Eckophonics” performed during Columbus Days. The Marley’s staff was an amazing crew when it came to set up.

The Columbus Area Chamber of Commerce is proud to have led the change to create a new story-telling tool, the “Something Good Columbus” branding campaign. Through the financial support of leading businesses and the creative talents of local professionals, a platform has been created to tell the Columbus story in a way that is authentic, believable, and inspiring.  Marley’s Electric jumped on that band wagon immediately supporting the “Something Good” campaign as a corporate sponsor. You will find Something Good magnets on their trucks, a banner hanging in their shop and their fleet of vehicles in the Columbus Days Parade. They are confident you’ll find something good here for you too!
