Job Description

Job Responsibilities

  • Bid Invitations and Preparation
    • Assist in preparing bid packages, including assembling relevant documents and specifications.
    • Distribute bid invitations to subcontractors and suppliers, and track responses using bid tracking software.
    • Support the project team in reviewing and evaluating bid submissions for completeness and accuracy.
  • Project Support and Coordination
    • Assist in planning, scheduling, and coordinating construction projects.
    • Support daily coordination of tasks on site
    • Collaborate with project managers, contractors, and subcontractors to ensure smooth project execution.
  • Site Visits and Inspection
    • Conduct site visits to monitor progress, ensure safety compliance, and observe construction methods.
  • Documentation and Reporting
    • Maintain and organize project documentation, including permits, contracts, and drawings.
    • Prepare and update progress reports, meeting minutes, and daily logs.
  • Quality Control Assistance
    • Help implement quality control measures to ensure work meets project specifications and standards.
    • Assist in reviewing and verifying work completed by contractors and subcontractors.
  • Cost and Budget Management
    • Support the project team in tracking project costs and maintaining budgets.
    • Assist in preparing cost reports and identifying potential cost-saving measures.
  • Safety and Compliance
    • Ensure adherence to safety protocols on-site.
    • Assist in conducting safety audits and promoting a culture of safety among all site personnel.
  • Scheduling and Planning
    • Help develop and maintain project schedules using construction management software.
    • Identify potential delays and assist in implementing solutions to stay on schedule.
  • Learning and Development
    • Actively engage in mentorship and training opportunities.
    • Learn about various aspects of construction management, including contract administration, risk management, and resource allocation.
Requirements
  • A valid driver’s license
  • Strong knowledge of Microsoft applications (Excel, Outlook, Word, Project)
  • Attention to detail
